Hyundai i30n Stage 2 Tune

For enthusiasts craving more power, you will need Hyundai Tuning’s i30N stage 2 upgrade to make the next major leap forward in power. While Stage 1 focuses on unlocking the car’s potential with basic airflow and tuning improvements, the i30n Stage 2 is all about addressing the bottlenecks that hold the engine back under high-load conditions. By replacing key restrictions in the exhaust and charge-air systems, this upgrade allows the engine to breathe, spool, and cool far more efficiently, unlocking serious performance gains.

On top of our Stage 1 Upgrade, the Stage 2 Upgrade adds the XForce Dump Pipe and Mid-Pipe to drastically improve exhaust flow and turbo response, the Forge Boost Pipe to replace the restrictive factory charge pipe, and the Forge Intercooler Upgrade Kit to control intake temperatures under sustained boost and heat soak. The car is then tuned using our N75 Motorsport Reflash to take full advantage of the added hardware.

The XForce Dump Pipe and Mid-Pipe combination is a major performance upgrade that addresses one of the most restrictive parts of the i30N’s factory setup: the post-turbo exhaust flow. The larger diameter dump pipe replaces the OEM unit’s tight bends and narrow outlet, allowing exhaust gases to exit the turbo more efficiently—resulting in faster spool, reduced backpressure, and improved throttle response. Paired with the XForce Mid-Pipe, which features smooth mandrel bends and a high-flow resonator, this setup not only enhances performance but also delivers a deeper, more aggressive exhaust note without excessive drone. The improved flow characteristics support higher boost levels and help the turbo maintain efficiency across the rev range.

The Forge Intercooler Upgrade Kit and Boost Pipe work together to significantly improve the charge-air system’s efficiency and reliability. The Forge Intercooler Upgrade Kit dramatically increases core size and cooling surface area compared to stock, allowing intake air temperatures to stay low even during prolonged spirited driving or track use. Lower IATs not only preserve power but also reduce the risk of detonation, making this intercooler essential for maintaining consistent performance at Stage 2 power levels. Complementing the intercooler is the Forge Boost Pipe, which replaces the restrictive and often flex-prone OEM charge pipes with high-flow mandrel-bent aluminum tubing. These pipes ensure smoother airflow, eliminate pressure drop, and provide a more reliable path for boost pressure—especially important when running higher boost targets. Together, they provide cooler, denser, and more stable airflow—exactly what a tuned turbocharged engine needs to perform at its best.

The N75 Motorsport Reflash rounds out the upgrade to take advantage of the improved exhaust flow, increased cooling efficiency, and enhanced charge-air delivery. With the complete Stage 2 package installed and tuned, you can expect to see around 250kW and 460Nm at the wheels, delivering a noticeably sharper, more responsive, and far more exhilarating driving experience.
