This Oil Cooler Kit is a must-have upgrade for anyone with a performance or race-tuned Hyundai i30N.
Rising oil temperature during spirited driving or under race conditions will result in a drop in the lubrication efficiency of your engine’s internal components.
The location of the oil cooler radiator at the front of the vehicle’s radiator grill allows for superior air flow resulting in the reduction of oil temperatures. This can lead to engine fatigue and potentially internal component damage due to insufficient engine lubrication.
The Forge Oil Cooler Kit keeps the factory oil-to-water cooler in place. This essentially doubles your engine’s oil cooling. The kit also includes a bespoke laser-cut aluminium bracket which makes for perfect fitment to the i30N crash bar.
The kit also includes a thermostat built into the oil cooler sandwich plate. Set to open at 85C which has been proven to be the optimal working temperature of the oil.
